New Baby Wipes
I found a new product to review!! I am lost for some weeks now because I have no new product at hand. Good thing that last weekend, I spot this new Baby Wipes from Johnson’s. The Johnson’s Baby Wipes is way cheaper than my old wipes. This one is at 87 PhP while the baby wipes we have been using for a time now is 90 PhP. The packaging is good except that it lacks a protective cover on the opening, unlike the one we have been using (Giggles). It is thicker too, does it mean that the wipes are thicker? We’ll see..
See the photo below? That is how prone it is to exposure. I am still not sure if it will stick enough even after many uses. As of now (that means 3 days of using), it still sticky.
The wipes are thicker too and it does have any smell. It is also bigger. My 4 month old daughter uses 3 to 5 wipes before but now with this new wipes, she can only consume 2, 3 at most.
Overall, I would still buy this one and say bubye to our old wipes. This is more practical and with a brand name that has been my partner, I will definitely stick on Johnson’s Baby Wipes.
Holy Week Schedule 2010
Since I still don’t have a post for today (no products to review yet), I’ll just make this Monday post a very quick one. Sissy has been asking me when is Holy Week, so here, Holy Week Schedule for 2010.
Ash Wednesday happened last February 17, 2010.. so we count forty days later or just browse the net.LOL
Palm Sunday (and I hope I can attend a mass this time, last time we were on our way to Baguio.. I am dying to test my photography skill on this day) falls on March 28 2010.
Holy Monday is March 29, 2010
Holy Tuesday is March 30, 2010
Holy Wednesday (where a procession is held in our town every year.. and I also wanna be there so I can put my DSLR into action… can’t wait!) falls on March 31, 2010.
Maundy Thursday is April 1, 2010. This is the time where the washing of the feet of the Apostles are remembered through a mass and a reenaction. Also, on Thursday night, people visit churches, a tradition known as Visita Iglesia. It also interesting to note that people from Metro Manila, walk to visit the famous Antipolo church, some I knew came as far as Quezon City and Mandaluyong.
Good Friday falls on April 2, Black Saturday is on April 3 and Easter Sunday is on April 4.
I love Holy Week, not for any other reason but for art’s sake. I believe Holy Week is one of the most artistic week in the Philippines. This is when faith, religion, arts, culture and passion come together to create a history. Eye super loveit!
Electric Blanket
With the ever changing climate we are experiencing, change on our basic thing is also a must. For example, ordinary blanket can no longer can keep us warm, so what can we do? We should shift from ordinary blankets to electric blanket. But before making the big switch, let me just give you some insights about this product.
I am living on a tropical country so I have no use for electric blankets, but my marce (Sat’s godmother) lives in a colder part of this country. She lives in Baguio and often she would complain about the weather being too cold. And since I heard about electric blankets and its benefits, this post is for my marce.
Electric blankets are blankets with electric devices to keep it warm. The electric device is usually placed on top of the mattress. There are different kind or electric blankets and they also comes in different sizes. Looking for the perfect blanket that fits you depends on your preference. You might wanna consider your heating need and your budget too.
For those who are afraid of electric blanket thinking it can be hazardous, you go it all wrong there. All you need is a proper care to prevent things from happening, just like in ordinary blankets, care is the key. Electric blankets are not to be fold so as not to damage the electrical wiring. It is best to put on an extra bed or roll it. Another thing, keep away from second hand electric blanket because you don’t know the history of those and can pose danger to you. You should also keep in mind that blankets older that ten years are not safe anymore.
Johnson’s Baby Betime Site
I really love it when I discover new things specially if it is blog related or blogworthy. Last Saturday we were invited to attend JOHNSON’S® Baby Bedtime Discoveries: Bedtime A to Zzz’s. Just click on the link to know the juicy details about the event. Part of it was the introduction of Johnson’s Baby Bedtime Site under Babycenter.com.ph… It’s kind hard to remember the url so just CLICK HERE then bookmark it on your browser. But if you want, you just remember this: http://www.babycenter.com.ph/bedtime.

And you know me, I love reviewing websites (or just about anything I cna get my hands on). I have been to this website even before it was introduce to us last Saturday. First. I really love the color, purple! It was very tantalizing to the eyes and yet it won’t make you sleepy. The right amount of purple in diffrent shade make the site more exciting and lively. For an OCD suferrer like me, a site that looks like a mess is not a good one. If a site has a lot of clutter, more likely than not, I would lose interest on the content of the website. Johnson’s Baby Bedtime has a good feel to it, very organized website and the added designs (such as the crib etc) gives the website a warmth feeling. I stayed and looked around (that means a good thing).

Navigation was never a problem. As you will see there are five navigation buttons. One is for the HOME which is a must in every website. Next to it is Baby Sleep 101 which explains clearly the Science of Sleep. On its side comes Bedtime Routine which is all about the Johnson’s Bedtime Routine which is clinically proven to help the baby sleep more. Next to it is the Sleep Toolbox which helps moms giving their kids a good night sleep. The sleep profiler can also be found here, where you can enter your baby’s sleep pattern and you can see if your baby is getting enough sleep. The Sleep Toolbox also offers sleep diary and sleep aides. Last but not the least is the Mommy Corner button and when clicked will direct you to a page where in you can find moms and their testimonies and their experiences with Johnson’s Bedtime Routine.
I really liked how everything was linked properly. For example in Sleep 101, if I want to know how Science linked sleeping pattern to growth, all I need is to click it. Explanations are also presented in a way that is very easy to understood. I like how it is not presented as a very long document in one page. Breaking it down into articles make it more conducive to read it. This is a very informative site for all mommies. And I highly recommend it to them. So if you are a mother or have plans on being one, Johnson’s Baby Bedtime is a MUST STOP.
