ChaCha Cañete And Camella Homes

Dec 24, 2009 under Local Shows, People | 5 Comments

This video was aired last April and since then the girl (which I thought was a boy)Chacha Cañete, are doing wonders(a hit a day actually) on my other blog. They say she will be the next child wonder of Philippine TV. I have to agree as she really is a good actress and not to mention adorable too. And with the success of her Bulilit Camella Homes “SIKIP” ad, she got another ad specially for this season..

She’s a good endorser, don’t you think? Manny Villar is lucky to have her.

This week theme for Tuesday Couch Potato is Christmas movie, what else? And though I am so so busy this week, I managed to sneak some time and do my TCP entry. My movie for this week is FRED CLAUSE, a cool movie about the CLAUSE family. I just had the chance to watch it this morning and I really enjoyed it.

You can catch this movie at HBO. I think they will be showing this movie a lot this season. I won’t give you a summary about it because it will just spoil the fun but one thing’s for sure, this one is MUST WATCH!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TCPers!

Anne Curtis (It’s Show Time Magpasikat)

Dec 21, 2009 under Local Shows | 4 Comments

You know by now how much we all enjoy this morning show It’s Show Time. A show were Filipino shows their talents. As the tag line of the show says, it’s your show, it’s your time, IT’S SHOW TIME! Aside from talented Filipinos performing everyday, the show hosts are also tasked to show their talents, (and now they also encourage other artist to go to their show and showcase their talents) and this portion is called MAGPASIKAT. Last December 16, it was Anne Curtis turn to shine. Watch how Anne Curtis MAGPASIKAT and make every judges give her a perfect score.

Nice eh? OK, you know this is a review site, so  we will review her performance. Honestly, this is the first time that I hear Anne Curtis sing. She is not a singer obviously but she is a GOOD ACTRESS as her facial expression made her performance a good one. Indeed she showcased her talent here, and not just that she also showed how confident she is. I really enjoyed watching it.

Movie Watching And Making Reviews

Dec 17, 2009 under Uncategorized | 5 Comments

It has been a while since I last saw a movie. I planned on watching Twilight but since we lost the car after the typhoon, I was not able to. I am not a movie buff but I miss watching movies in cinema. I like the feeling of darkness inside the theater and the feeling of suspense on each twist, may it be a drama or an action film. The last movie I saw was Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. Watching the movie in cinemas are better than watching it in your TV. The difference for me is I can compose a good review of the movie without my kids distracting me.

As for now, I have to content myself with HBO and other cable channels for movies. I still can’t afford to leave Sati behind and watch a movie in cinema. Reviewing a movie is one of my favorite thing to do (hence the description of this site, where reviewing is not a job; it’s a passion). I am a very opinionated person that is, hehe. so for now, you have to endue reading about toys, baby products and local series from me.. that’s all I am up for this month.. well, except for TCP and once in a while trip down to memory lane kind of movie review..
