This is not my first time to review this website. When I first review the website, I was more like reviewing the author (and how we met etc), not the site as a website. How would I know then that the proper way to review a website is through its technical aspect.
Pinay Jade or Life of Filipina Blogger is a personal journal of an expat living in Singapore (as the header clearly states). It talks about the life and struggles of a girl in a different country. It give its readers a glimpse of diverse culture in Singapore. Aside from that, it also gives out opinions on current events. The site also caters for the author’s desires and dreams.
Let’s talk about the design of this website. I highly commend its header as it depicts a very Filipino trait. The jeepney image and the Merlin statue describes the nature of the blog. the site is easy to navigate as the header has the main links on it (like disclosure policy, archives and contact form). The site loads fast too. Colors of the themes are easy on the eye. The touch of pink on the website made it livelier and seems to offer fun and good reads.
