Free Online Jobs

Oct 26, 2009 under Fedhz Contest, Website | 16 Comments

Free Online Jobs is a website devoted to publishing online jobs that are legitimate and sites that really pays. So for a mother like me who is into online jobs,  I think this site is a must stop. I am always on the look out for new opportunities on the Internet. Online jobs like being a worker in Amazon can be found on the website. I worked for that site before and i know it pays (though I hadn’t reached the amount I want to get yet), my sister who also worked in Amazon has been paid but she uses it to purchase a toy in Amazon.

Anybody would love the website because of its simple theme. There is not much on the website except for the article and the appropriate links. It even has no archives, and I think it is just right. This is an online job website, who would want to look on the past jobs offer anyway?  Another advantage of the simplicity of the website is that the readers can focus more on the content of each articles rather than images or some distractions. The articles are well written and the jobs are very descriptive. If you want to be updated on the website, subscribe to their feeds here.

Mike Mamaril

Mike Mamaril is personal website or journal of Mike Mamaril. Who is Mike? Taken straight from his site:

I’m a programmer by trade; I used to develop Windows™ based applications using Visual Basic but shifted to Web Development.

I do weight training as a hobby, I do my routines 4 times a week, I also run in between my weight training days.

I’m a big fan of Japanese culture and cuisine, and especially anime. I listen to all kinds of music, and eat all kinds of food.

My motto in life are as follows:

  • Make money with the least amount of effort possible.
  • If you’re gonna do something, do it right!
  • If you want something done right, do it yourself.
  • What comes around, goes around.
  • Rule #1: The boss is ALWAYS RIGHT.
  • Rule #2: if the boss is wrong read rule #1.
  • The simpler, the better.

That is what I got from his ABOUT ME page. Obviously the site is all about Mike, his rants, his hobby and even his latest purchase or latest gadget.

The author says that one of his motto is “The simpler, the better.” and that is very evident on his website’s template. It is in the simplest form possible without much clutter. If not for some ads or some banners on the side, I might find this site boring (too simple, thank goodness for the ads and for the gf who insists on those). But again, the simplicity of the website makes the site loading faster than usual blogs.

Content wise, as it is a journal, you should not expect to read award winning article here. It’s just like a diary, not an Associated Content website. If you like reading, you will definitely like the site too as its grammar and the way articles are written are friendly.

The Blog That Rule!

Oct 24, 2009 under Fedhz Contest, Website | 16 Comments

Girls Rule, obviously is a blog about female. It is very evident on the lay out and the topics posted in the blog. The site holds a weekly activities entitled GIRLS TALK. This weekly meme is held every Thursday where it encourage female bloggers to answer a simple question. The topic ranges from their favorite past time to their favorite dress.

The design of the blog as I have said is very feminine. Although the site has blue shade on it, it made the site more interesting rather than an all pink template. The website uses a three column template which I think made the site easier on the eye. It has a lot of image on the side but it is well organized. All pages are well indexed and archives are easy to find too. Looking around the blog is not difficult as everything are properly titled on the sidebar.

The content of the blog supports it title, it talks about girl and nothing but girls. Judging form its comment section, it is very evident that this blog is widely read and has a lot of visitors. It is a clear sign that the site is easy to read and has a good message effectiveness on its reader.

In My Psyche

Oct 23, 2009 under Fedhz Contest, Website | 10 Comments

In My Psyche is a personal blog that talks about personal issue and a lot more. Reading the website is not a waste of time as the author is a real story teller. Any reader will be hooked on how the auhtor relates to herself to the audience, It feels like she was in front of you talking and telling her tales. Yes, the author of this website is a female, which is very evident on the lay out of the website. As I have said, the site consists of entries that are personal like how organize the author is and how neat freak her husband is. Anybody can relate can relate to it.

The lay out of the website is good and it’s strongest point is its color combination. It gives off weloming feeling to its reader. Its weakest point was its back ground paper as it the design sometimes overwhelms the text in the body. The site’s simple template and not overly decorated sidebar made its loading fast.

Anybody will love this site as its every entry is not boring. Each entries are written like a diary. It seems that every articles are written right at the spot. Like for example the post about the author’s thought where it fees like you are reading the author’s mind.

Jed Chan.COM

Oct 22, 2009 under Uncategorized | 15 Comments

Jed Chan.com is a blog that is not about Jed Chan. Straight from his about me page:

Though the site is named after me, I don’t really consider that this is my own blog. In contrary, I consider that this is YOUR blog as well. Every time I write a post I always write for the audience and not only for me.

So aside from the blog not being about the author, the site talks about cars and even gives out advice if you want some detailing for your car. And boy I am glad that the site also features recent news and events and even controversies on the Internet like that of the infamous Jacque Bermejo (I have no idea but thanks to Jed, I now know who she is and the story behind her).

The design of the site is not typical or not common to my eyes. It uses a three column theme but instead of the main column being on the right side, it is on the left side. One can know easily that the author of the site is a businessman. He knows how to monetize his blog through ads as the ads are placed in strategic area on the site. The site load fast and the pages are well indexed too.
