Mega Bloks CAT 3-in-1 Ride-On Dump Truck

I bought this toy because I am obsessed with anything YELLOW and any toy that has Mega Bloks Maxi on it. I have been salivating over this toy for years now and when hubby says yes, I immediately picked it up and off I go to the cashier. It’s a bit pricey for my taste. the real story behind, I was planning to buy a ride on toy for Chico as to develop his locomotion skills. I was choosing between Chicco and Fisher Price but upon learning that it is the same price as with Mega Bloks CAT 3-in-1 Ride-On Dump Truck, so without thinking much, I chose the latter.

What can I say about the toy? It’s awesome! Chico loves it so much. If there is thing that I did not like about it is its dumper on the back. Its hard to maintain it that way, you have to constantly put it back as it always lost on its position. Then we decided to just take it out and everything is well again. For durability, it has been 6 months since we bought it and it is still good as new. I am trusting the brand Mega Bloks for it durability, we have toys from them that are 6 years old now and still in good conditions. Will I buy one again? I am not sure as I believe this one will last Chico and even Sati’s childhood.

The Legacy Of Bumblebee

Sep 2, 2009 under Toys | 6 Comments

One time while we were in the mall, there was a huge Transformers toy sale. I love shopping for toys. I am not your typical woman who love clothes and shoes, I am more on toys and hardware (the reason why I can’t put up a fashion blog). And so when we saw this Transformers sale, we can’t help but buy one. We bought The Legacy Of Bumblebee, a three Bumblebee toy. There is the Bumblebee from the movie, the classic Bumblebee and the animated Bumblebee.

And when I thought everything is OK with our purchase, I was wrong. Transforming it to a car is really difficult. Let’s start with the classic Bumblebee, this one is the hardest. It took me an hour to learn how to assemble it. the instruction is not that accurate as it is in black and white. It is hard to distinguish which pat goes to this part. I really had a hard time. Then there’s the Bumblebee animated, another one that almost took my sanity away. I spend a good thirty minutes for that one. It is not as hard as the the classic but it is hard too. Now comes the Bumblebee movie, my 5 year old son took pity on me and volunteered on transforming it. He did in 5 minutes! I don’t know if it is that easy or if the manual is just for kids only.

All in all, the toy was OK, price versus quality is alright, to think we got it on sale. If this toy was not on sale there is no chance that I would buy them. It’s original price is a bit expensive for me.
